About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and talented Account Manager to join our team. Reporting to the National Manager, you will take over an existing portfolio of Real Estate customers, based across Victoria. This role will be responsible for managing the portfolio as well as a small amount of new business development within your geographic area of responsibility. 

Your day-to-day will be varied and busy and your primary objective is to ensure that Direct Connect is front of mind for your customers and they are advocates for the Direct Connect brand. You will have ownership over your portfolio and the freedom to do what is required to grow new business partnerships. This will see you grow share of wallet from your existing portfolio. Also by prospecting new customers you will look to increase our market presence and revenue opportunities for Direct Connect and its partners. 

About You 

Our ideal candidate will come to us with Account Management experience, ideally with an understanding of the Real Estate or Energy industry. We’re keen to hear from Phone Sales and Call Center Operators, who can demonstrate a solid passion for building and maintaining relationships and managing accounts & portfolios. A drive to achieve and leverage of your success will see you stand out as the perfect person for this role.

Based in our wonderful Bryant & May offices in Richmond, you will join our wider retail group which includes Red Energy and Lumo Energy. This role will be a mix of phone based and face to face customer visits, where all travel expenses will be covered and you will build strong value based relationships with all customers within your portfolio. You will be empowered to get in front of customers as much as required. You will work closely with the Channels team in ensuring you maximise sales opportunities.
